MtG Parting with an Archetype

Back again! This time i'll be saying some stuff about my love/hate relationship with the Combo Archetype in Magic the Gathering.

Combo is the first competitive Legacy deck i owned. Over the months after i got it, i played it alot. Pretty much every tournament, playing 2-4 tournaments a month. Eventually i wanted to play other archetypes in tournaments and went on to play more controllish decks.

At the moment my decks of choice are BGW/BGU Nic Fit and BUG Landstill.
The reason i prefer playing these archetypes is simply because you have more control over what is happening, I love playing combo and often considered taking it with me to tournaments, but i always felt that when playing combo you're more at the hands of your opponents, rather then your own.

So after having a fair amount of succes with playing combo (multiple top 4/8s) i stopped playing it almost completely. I never stopped pimping the deck out, because it's still a love-child of mine.

However, with the increased costs of cards and my "need" to pimp out decks further, i decided to part with the deck completely. With the money i'll hopefully get off that, i can try and get more UNL Duals to get altered aswel as the last foil Fetchlands and Jaces i need :)

Here's a picture of what is left and what i'm selling on Ebay right now:

If you're interested in this pile of combo goodstuff here's the link to the auction:

It took me a long time to get all this together, and it also took me alot of effort to be able to part with it now.

Next post, i will be either going more in-depth on my Nic-Fit creations, or posting more Puff-Pastry goodies! :D

Untill next time!
